Shang Hai

1. This is a very difficult game, played in two variations.

a. For every sector from 1 to 7, three points have to be scored. This is done by hitting the single zone of that sector three times, by hitting each of the double and the single zone of that sector once, or by hitting the triple zone of that sector once. Every player starts with sector. 1. After scoring three points for sector 1, she or he proveeds to another sector.2. And so on. Whoever first has finished sector 7, is the winner. However, if a dart drops from the dart board while scoring for sector, then the player has to start from the beginning.

b. Unlike in variation a. first the single zone of any sector, then the double zone of the same sector, and finally the triple zone of the same sector must be hit. Whoever accomplishes this first, is the winner. A voice will then praise the winner by announcing "Shang Hai."

2. Operation

(1) In the stop state, press PLAYER to choose the number of players.

(2) Press GAME and select the game SHANG HAI.

(3) Press START/STOP to start the game.

Every player throws three darts in the current round. When she or he is done, it is the next player's turn. If a dart falls down, then immediately before the next player starts, press BOUNCE OUT and manually correct the score using AMEND. To finish the game before time or start anew, press START/STOP and do the settings again, as described above. BOUNCE OUT and AMEND buttons cannot be operated.
