Power inverter is an electronic device that converts low DC (direct current) power from a battery or other power source (mostly 12 VDC) to standard household AC ( alternating current) power (110 Vac). Our inverter is one of the most advance DC-AC inverter in today's market. These inverters are good to power up your appliances in your car, boat, truck, RV, aircraft. Turn your battery into AC outlets. Useful in hurricane season, snowstorm, power outage, or anywhere without AC power.

Since these inverters apply the high frequency power conversion techniques, small ferrite transforms are used in stead of bulky transformers in order inverters. That why our inverters are lighter and more compact than any other inverters with similar power rating.
The best source for modified Sine Wave Inverters, DC to AC inverter, from 50 watts all the way up to 3,000 watts inverter.

Most inverters possess 6 protection function to protect the unit from permanent damage.

  1. Over Load Protection.
  2. Short Circuit Protection.
  3. Input Over Voltage Protection.
  4. Input Low Voltage/Over Discharge Protection.
  5. Reverse Polarity Protection.
  6. Over Temperature Protection.

Determining battery size.

First of all determine the power (Wattage) of each appliance or tool that will operate from the inverter. Normally it will list on the label of the equipment and show in "Watts" or simply 'W'. If it is shown in 'amps' or 'A', multiply by 110 to determine the wattage. Then estimate the operating time of each equipment between battery charging.

Appliance Power Consumption Operating Time Watt-hours
Microwave oven 750-Watts 0.5 hours 375
Blender 300-Watts 0.3 hours 90
TV & VCR 120-Watts 4.0 hours 480
Coffee maker 800-Watts 0.5 hours 400

Total   5.3 hours 1345 Watt-hours

Average power consumption = 1345/5.3 = 254Watts a fully charged 150 Amp-hours battery (calculated 134.5 Amp-hours) is sufficient to provide about 5 to 6 hours operating time between recharges. In order to protect your battery from deep discharge and shorten the battery life, it is better to choose a battery with larger capacity. Ideally, the calculated capacity should be approximately half the battery's rated capacity (i.e. in this example, choose a 300 Amp-hours battery or connect two 150 Amp-hours battery in parallel.)
